The Why
Ozzy's Oasis Animal Rescue is a South Carolina-based 501(c)3 nonprofit organization dedicated to saving the dogs most often left behind.
Unlike traditional rescues that focus primarily on rapid placement, Ozzy's Oasis prioritizes giving dogs the time they need to physically and emotionally recover.
Our long-term vision includes the development of Ozzy's Oasis Sanctuary, a peaceful rehabilitation property where dogs can decompress, receive individualized training and medical treatment, and experience stability before adoption. Dogs that cannot safely or ethically be adopted will have lifelong, safe, sanctuary placement.
OUR MISSION
Ozzy's Oasis exists to give forgotten dogs the second chance they deserve by rescuing those most at risk of euthanasia, providing individualized medical and behavioral rehabilitation, and creating a sanctuary where healing happens at each dog's own pace. We believe every dog deserves compassion, dignity, and the opportunity to thrive— regardless of age, breed, medical condition, or past.
